Time, Dawn, or a Passing Train: The Bolderāja–Daugavgrīva Walk
Boring slow movements burning in the wheeler,
barely teasing sounds of unzipping ties.
Chopped and drilled at slugspeed, smoke signaling suspense.
Splitting good wood little rhythmic dip in the domestic sea.
Shivers sent down the dark side of my hi vis.
A special contemporary art action “Time, Dawn, or a Passing Train” – an atmospheric continuation of the performative walk cycle “Walks to Bolderāja”, initiated in the 1980s by members of the legendary avant-garde group NSRD (Workshop for the Restoration of Unfelt Feelings) – Jānis Boiko, Hardijs Lediņš, and Imants Žodžiks.
Curators: Gundega Evelone, Māra Žeikare
Participants: Diana Lelis, Ingūna Rubene, Nils Īle, Jānis Pelše and friends of NSRD, Gundega Evelone, Simona Orinska, BUTŌ LAB, and Kaspars Rolšteins, Slekke (NO/BE), SET SOUND TO (Gudrun Holck (DK) & Eva Vēvere), Platons Buravickis, Kristīne Želve, and others.
